Confidence issue?

My wife has cheated on me multiple times. I take her back everytime even though deep down I don’t want to. I think it comes down to my confidence ultimately. So my question is: does anyone have advice for rebuilding confidence? I also want to add, she is an alcoholic who gets physically and mentally abusive. I don’t feel a lack of confidence regularly, but I do not know why else I take her back.

It’s different for women... women are usually happier not stooping to that level... but it’s different bcuz women can get pregnant, men can’t. So when a guy cheats sexually, it’s not as severe as when a girl cheats sexually. Also, men feel un-masculine after being cheated on. Women don’t have as much insult to their womanhood.



Your wife is absolutely dogging you here, and you need to stand up for yourself. Cheat back and then she’ll learn how much it hurts and she might stop doing it

Why do you want to continue with this pain? She is not going to change until she wants to, and you are not her husband, you are her excuse to keep doing what she wants, which is wallow in alcoholism and abuse. Break free of this. You deserve to have a decent life, and you aren't with this situation. You owe her nothing as she isn't trying to stay faithful to you. Let her go. Go have a good life. You tried your best here, she is abusing that and always will. Once you let go of this way of life you will see that you have confidence, but right now it is being stifled by all the pain you are in. Move on and go live your best life,
