My man keeps liking extremely attractive women's pictures on social media, both facebook and instagram.
I told him I don not mind if he likes the pictures they post that aren't of themselves. There isn't an excuse in the world that he could tell me where I would be okay with him "appreciating" another females looks via the internet. I mean I know men will be men but this is a problem for me. I've tried to ignore me, get past it, but every single time I catch it, how do I put this? I lose my ****.

I've confronted him MANY times. Always ending the same way, me still upset and him continuing to do as he pleases. He pulls out the "controlling card" and turns the tables on me, etc. I believe that my feelings towards this situation are being "blown off"

Have I lost my marbles? o_O

It's perfectly normal for guys to fins other women attractive. However, he is being disrespectful to you by making it publicly known online that he finds these other women attractive.

That's the social media equivalent of him taking you out on a date and verbally telling other women walking by "You're a very attractive woman." This is while you are standing right next to him.

So the bottom line is this: He is being disrespectful to you by liking those pics so that everyone else knows he finds those women attractive.

You will have to handle this in a calm manner and casually say to him "It's probably best if we take a break for a while so you can continue making it known that you like looking at those pretty girls' pics. You can call me in a few weeks to see if I'm still available to date. Goodbye."

Then you cut off ALL contact for at least 3 weeks. You don't even read text messages or listen to voice mails.

If he is serious about you, he won't want to risk losing you to another guy. So he will immediately stop liking those pics and beg you to stay with him. If he calls you controlling, you reply "Enjoy your other girls. Goodbye."

TEST: If he was dating Selena Gomez or Ariana Grande, do you seriously think he would be liking pics of other girls?

To me social media is nothnig but trouble in relationships and as I am from the older generation I have told every young person I know who is either in a long term relationship or recently married that social media will destroy their relationship and it has done so. You are not wrong in what you say to him, Good Luck
