Guys, what are hints you give a friend to show you're interested?

Question

if you don't have the confidence to ask the girl out and are trying to give hints to show interest without giving too much away or ruining the friendship what will you do?

what kind of things show he's only interested in a friendship?

I could give you a list of interesting behaviour that i've received from him, but figure it's probably just more worthwhile to hear from your experiences abt how you hint.

Also any ways I could hint whilst saving face (he's a bit shy and awkward with such things) would help.

If he's told you things like 'your eyes are pretty', or 'you look cute in that', then he's definitely interested. He's just shy about it, and you should hint back at him if you're interested in him. You have to do a little flirting, but dont make it tooooo obvious,because you dont want to look like a fool if he's not really interested in you. If you open up a little bit more to him, then the odds are he'll do the same. Just tell him things like 'you smell nice today', or 'you look cute in that shirt', and just build from there. Just flirt a little and give compliments that could be seen as flirtascious, but dont be too obvious like 'damn, you're sexy'. I really think if you flirt a little to him, he'll do it back.



When im interested in a girl, i tell her she's pretty, or she has a nice smile, or i see what we have in common. eg. if you both wanted to go to new york city one day, i would say to her 'we both love new york, we should go there one day! imagine all the fun we could have!' or something like that. sorry if it doesnt help..

Well, I don't purposely drop any signs, but if you look into his eyes while biting your lip and his eyes dilate that's a good sign. But who cares? Go for it anyways!
