im a meek girl!i haven't inherited the earth not even a patch!!maybe the dust though of those other folks running past me gregarious and cheery!!

If you are refering to Psalms 37:10 but the meek themselves shall inherit the earth? This refers to the time when God will intervene in mans affairs, the previous verse says the wicked one will be no more! so those who cause violence, crime, wars, wicked people will be cut off destroyed.. But the meek those who want to live under Gods rule shall live on forever! Read Daniel 2:44 this speaks about the Gods goverment in Heaven, One Goverment ruling all the earth. Says it will crush all Human goverments on the earth. A Kingdom is another word for Goverment so this refers to the our father prayer or the Lords prayer, "Let your Kingdom come" meaning let your righteous Goverment come which will solve all mankinds problems. Which is very very soon. Read 2 Timothy 3:1-5 speaks about the signs of the last days, which is now. what will this Kingdom (Goverment) do for man? Read Revelation 21:3-4. NO MORE DEATH, NO MORE PAIN, NO MORE TEARS, God will reverse all sufferings we have today. Hope this answers your question.

The 'meek' are a race of people from another planet with really big guns and lasers and stuff. Once they've invented space travel and got bored of blowing eachother up, they'll be over here to sort us out, thus inherit the earth.

basically it means let all the agressive ones fight and kill each other, if you hide you will be the last one standing. But it was probably written by some priest somewhere who didnt want his people to go to war or they were too scared to, so they had to have a reason for it! The meek might be the last ones standing but they will be 94 years old and way way past it, having had no fun all their lives! Join the fight!

when i look back at my childhood friends many of the ones who were running wild and free are in trouble ( prison, single parents, unemployed, drugs etc.) the ones who may have been seen as "meek" or goodie goodies are mainly doing really well for themselves. our future doctors and lawyers are the geeks of yesterday. (with exceptions)

You just have to find someone how is right for you. There must be someone that you like, care more then for the others.
