Is it wrong to ask a lady at the end of a date if you can kiss her or should you just go for the gusto?

It depends. If she moves in a little, than kiss her. Otherwise I would ask her. I think that it is nice. If I was not into a guy and if he just barged in to kiss me, I would be disgusted, and back off immediately. If you ask, it will save some embarassment for the both of you. :)

Depends on how the date went. If it was very friendly during the date and both of you seem happy and all smiles at end ( easy to see her reaction at this point ) a short quick hug and kiss on the cheek is probably okay. Her body language will tell you if she wants more. If date was cordial but you don't feel any special "connection" with the lady, then don't no matter how hard you pine for it. Remember, you don't want to do anything that will ruin your chances for a second date. Maybe ask just go ahead and ask for a second date instead.

You never ask for permission to kiss a girl. It will only make both of you feel awkward. If everything went fine and she's letting you hold her hand or put your arms around her, then I believe 99% of the time she will not refuse a kiss. If you haven't gotten to that stage, then don't attempt a kiss yet.

watch a film called hitch..he says you should go 70% of the way and let them do the rest...you will know for sure..when you get kissed or slapped :P...btw there is no rule for it...if she has that look in her eye, then you will know..:P i wouldnt ask her though just go for it!!
