Girls, what do you think of calm, quiet and polite guys?

I've always been a quiet shy guy who tried to be a good person, and I was just wondering how most girls viewed this behavior.

When a guy is quiet and polite...is it attractive? Or is it sort of dull after a while? And when I say quiet, I don't mean mute. It just takes me a little longer to open up to people.

Would you like a quiet, polite guy or do you prefer somebody a little more loud and expressive?

Umm, I like loud boys becuase they make themselves know to the world and arn't afraid to express themselves. So, if I liked a shy boy, I would want him to open up a little bit. Ex. speak more in class and make jokes ALOT more often.

aw thats cute! I think quiet and polite guys are great, loud guys can get annoying after a while - but thats my opinion.



However, A mixture of both is good. But I'm sure that when you get 2 no someone u will open up as u begin to trust them fully.

I think I would like the expressive guy better than the quiet guy. Not unless if the quiet guy did a lot of art or had the same interests as me I'd find that attractive. Sometimes shy quiet guys might hold in a lot of anger though I've met a couple.. and he opened up about his ex and gave me like a whole life time of insults about her.

I like both of them really. The expressive guy would be most interesting because I'm the same way. I can also be shy and quiet sometimes but I can also be loud and expressive.

Okay. I LOVE polite guys. Girls dont want a guy who just acts like a jerk. They definantley dont want someone mute, and i know you said your not. They want someone who expresses theirselves, but isnt just mean and stupid acting. Most girls want nice, polite guys, with somewhat of a badboy style...i dont know why..we just do ;)

Being quiet can get in the way. If your not talking, they may think you dont like them. Talk to girls about anything! Stick to the polite status and try to be a little more talkative :)) Hope this helps.

That all depends. I, for the most part like I guy to keep himself under control. But, if need be, he should be able to get a little more upbeat. Polite is a great thing to be. Just make sure you know when you're being polite and when you're letting people step all over you. There is nothing wrong with taking some time to warm up to people.

my boyfriend is a quiet and very polite guy. we're almost three years and we are very happy. i guess quiet are like mysterious but when do open its interesting. like you want to know more about him. some might say those type of guys are boring but its not really true. open up alittle and once you met a girl that you really like, be yourself and dont be afraid to be loud and expressive....

i love my boyfriend. he was really quiet at first but now he learned to open up to me. relationship would not last if there is no communication so both will learn a lot in a relationship. =)

My husband was realy quiet at first. It can come off that you dont like us, depending on how you act. Polite is good, dont ever compromise that. On our date he opened the car door for me, and the resteraunt door, it gave me chills because I wasnt used to it, and theres not many men out there that do things like that! The right kind of girls would appreciate that.

Polite is important. With quiet it depends. If it is hard to get you to talk and hard to have a conversation with then that would be bad. I know a lot of people that like the quiet guys but you have to be sure to be fun also!

Let me just say that polite is one of THE biggest turn on's.



You just need to have balance- know when to be quiet and know when to be loud and fun.



I find it very attractive, it shows you have maturity which is hard to find in guys these days :\

It all depends on the girl! I'm definitely not one for the crazy out of control guys, but it's a big turn off if the guy doesn't have some crazy side to him.



If there's one thing I hate about a guy, its when he doesn't act himself. I'm sure if you just act like yourself you'll find the perfect girl!

My ex wasn't like this though he actually had his moments when he was like this and when he was a loud, obnoxious jerk.

expressive is good, but if they are always reserved and you like them, how are you supposed to know that they like you or not? So most times if you don't start to warm up to them you loose interest. But if they do warm up then thats what makes you like them :-)

Awh, I think that's lovely. quiet and polite boys who try to be good people will treat their girlfriends right, and learn to trust people they are indivually close with easiar. people like that won't cheat in their girlfriends.
