I met this girl six months ago and she plays WoW with me and is in my guild. Her ex used to be in the guild but he quit a few months ago, we started talking and one thing lead to another and now we are going to meet at the end of the summer and get a hotel room together. Has anyone made a love connection on WoW and how long did it last?

No. I play with my 'guy-friend'.

But a hotel room and you'll be meeting for the first time?? What if she's not really that attractive? I mean, Its obvious you'll sleep together but wow, that's kinda fast too or maybe I'm just getting old. Good luck anyways!

Im a girl and recently started dating someone I met through WoW. We've been unofficially dating for maybe 2-3months but only officially for 3wks (refused to make it official until we met).

The main question is do you talk to her (as in TALK not type e.g. vent)? I also have an ex that plays wow but he plays on a different server (I left the server when we broke up), so I dunno how the whole guild thing is gonna go.

Feel free to email me from my profile page if you wanna talk about my experiences more.

I have not personally met someone from the game, but I know plenty of people who have. Some of these relationships only lasted a few weeks or months, others eventually lead to long committed relationships and even marriage.

Dating from someone from the game is no different than dating someone else you have met online. I say go for it!

You should really be carefull with this to, this so called "girl" could turn out to be a gay guy or something. Plus if it is really a girl she might not be to attractive.
