I met a girl in one of my classes this semester in college. She didn't talk much at the beginning, but slowly started talking more and more. She gave me a lot of indicators that she was interested.

I got her number a week before the class was over, but never called her. And I saw her the last day of class and didn't really get to talk to her, because it was the final day.

A day after the final I sent her a text that she replied to right away. Like 2 minutes later. Usually a good sign.

I then waited a couple hours and replied to what she asked me and told her I wanted to see her again in the future. This was Thursday night.

She hasn't responded to that text yet, and I'm wondering if I should just forget about this girl. I don't expect her to reply within the next 2 days, because of x-mas. And now I am basically telling myself to forget about her.

Why would she give me her #; reply to my text immediately, and then not reply to the other one?

How much longer should I give her?

That's the beauty of texting. You don't have to answer if you don't want to, without having the awkwardness of having to somehow end a conversation. She's not interested in you like that right now.

Grab your sack, and call her. Quit using text for advancement of a relationship. Girls like a man with some sort of confidence. Call her, talk to her smoothly about her vacation, and ask her to some coffee when you two get back.
