Why do men lie about everything?

My boyfriend lies about everything. Is it me? For example I can ask him where you been today, he will say anything and everything that comes out his mouth is a lie, not one single word is the truth. Do all men lie like this or is this just my sorry excuse for a boyfriend?

They lie so that they won't have to deal with the issues. They don't like confrontations, so they lie to get around the issue.

My husband does not lie. In the very beginning of our relationship I did catch him a few fibs here and there and we got to the bottom of it and it stopped. Ask yourself some questions... have you or do you ever complain about what he eats/how much he spends/what game he plays/ etc? Because if you have, then you've set up a reason for him to feel he HAS to lie. Some things like not wanting to hurt someone about how they feel is normal and everyone has done it. Has someone else made him feel he has to lie? You need to work this out. I did and it IS possible. Men don't lie about everything.. only some men do and they usually have a reason. The one thing I learned in my marriage and want to pass on is you need to pick your battles. If you're always complaining then he's always on the defensive and not listening to you.

To answer the question, they don't. Only the jerks do. This is just your sorry excuse for a boyfriend, yes. NEVER put up with behavior that you aren't 100% OK with. If you settle, then you will end up unhappy. If you don't ever settle for less than being treated marvelously, you will end up being treated marvelously. I'm not saying you should have insane standards, but you should certainly have a boyfriend who never lies to you, treats you well, thinks of you, is thoughtful, will never cheat, does sweet little things for you, etc. Believe me, it's out there. You just won't find it if you spend your time dating losers with something to hide.

I would ask you why all women lie!! It works both ways honey. And from my perspective, the girls lie far more often. You guys are just able to justify in your mind.
