Is it possible that a 23 year old guy can be such an incredible "catch" that women shy away from him because they aren't ready to meet someone like that?

Not to be rude, but just be yourself, i am sure it will not be a problem! you can't be THAT perfect!

Women can be very attracted to but intimidated by great looks, job, clothes, etc.
It can often be the case that this 'perfect' guy is a "player", and works very hard to maintain that "perfect" image to attract the ladies and then toss them away like yesterday's trash.
But also, in our day and age, a man that's very clean, neat, wears expensive fashionable clothing can be often considered "gay" -- which could be another reason why women shy away. Who knows.
But it works the other way that many men are very intimated by beautiful 'perfect' women as they can be considered "out of their league".
