Why does a guy keep glancing and smiling at me in class but not try to talk to me?

he's onlyin one of my classes and sometimes he even purposely leaves class at the same time as i do and once he came up next to me while i was walking with a friend and he just kept the same walking pace as i did next to me,saying nothing(it was cute but a bit awkward).also,once while i got up and was passing the group table he sat in class,he smiled and i smiled back and a girl in his table(when i turned around) said "awww,he smiled and she smiled baaaaack" and he looked down.anyway,he's two years older than i am but he looks like a really nice guy and people say that we'd look very cute together.

it'svery frustrating cause i'm sensing he's too shy to talk but,i personally don't want to randomly go up to him and say hey because it's been going on for 4 months like this.what should i do?

First, let me just say this is a really cute story...i dont think there would be anything wrong with sitting by him or asking him to hang out sometime. Get to know him a little more. Its obvious he feels something for you or else he wouldnt smile and look at you all the time. Just get to know him and break the ice a little. Good Luck hun!

For us guys, it's hard to try to express ourselves. The only advice I can give is: get your friends' help so they can find information on whether he likes you or not. Also, you should try to casually talk to him. Don't ask him as to whether or not he likes you. Just try to make a simple conversation about things. It's better that you try to get to know him first anyway.
