boyfriend didn't want to spend new years eve with me-?

Question

Earlier in the day I had a migraine. His car broke down, and when I called him later in the day, he decided to make plans with his boys instead to play poker and smoke cigars rather than spend it with me, I offered to pay for half the cab fee if he wanted to come over. This is the first new years we'e have had to spend together, usually he is working. So, I was a bit upset that he made other plans, then he got mad at me for being upset. I tried calling him a few times around midnight, he never answered and he never called me to say happy new years. Still no word from him....wondering what to do?

Start the new year off right, why are you dating him again? If he was anything close to a real man he would've spent it with you, or at least called you at midnight. I can only see that is how it will be for you, him putting his friends before you. Perhaps he is already making a relationship decision as you speak?...

Wow I'm sorry I have the same kind of boyfriend he turned off his phone saying he was saving the battery but at least called me at 12 to say happy new year so ya but he went with "family" to go see the fireworks I guess hmm called this morning and he is in a hotel with him "family" I don't know what to do anymore :-( sad

Your boyfriend is very selfish and self centred. If that happened to me he would not be my boyfriend any longer. If he loved you, you would come first in his life not his male buddies. You deserve better! Don't settle for less or you be will be used by this" kind" of person over and over again.
