Is it an awkward place to hang or not?

I asked this girl if she wanted to hang out during vacation, and she asked what did I have in mind, and my guy friend suggests taking her to dinner, a sporting event, or a movie, and I was thinking the mall. Is the mall an awkward place to hang because my guy friend thinks it is.

Not really. There are many stores, so you can window shop. And window shopping is fun when you have a girl with you. There are places to eat, so you guys can eat. And there is usually a movie theater, so you guys can watch a flick. So yeah, I don't think it's awkward at all. By the time you guys have done all this, it's probably time to leave :D

No I wouldn't think so. I am a girl myself and I don't think she would find it awkward. It is a person place with many people and it can also be fun so I really don't think it would be awkward because I go hang out with some of my guy friends at our mall all the time and it can be a lot of fun and not awkward at all.

the movies is a good idea if you want to "make a move" :L the mall sounds like a place where friends hang, or if your just friends with her then the malls a good idea :D :L x

Nah, it's only awkward if you think it is. Sounds like you think it's fine. You can take her all over the place, and even get some food there. Bam. Lunch date as well. Go for it.
