i need a ladies' opinion?

Question

I met a wonderful woman (were both in our 30s) through the personals about 6 weeks ago. We met 2 weeks ago and have been out 4 times. we talk and/or email every day. she says that she's never been in a serious relationship.



that's the background. we are going to a get together tomorrow with some of my co-workers (total group about 10). she seemed very eager to go but she does not want me to pick her up -- she wants to meet me. we've met in public every time we've gone out.



then today, i went back to her profile to see something about her, and it says shes been active several times this week.



i like her - but im a little at a loss to understand where i stand. what do you think?

Well I find it hard to believe by 30 something she has never been in any type of serious relationship. She doesn't seem to be the most honest person. She probably does like you and maybe she's just not comfortable with you coming to her place yet and she's probably still on the internet looking at different guys profiles because you're just dating and not in a serious relationship yet. OR, She's just looking for a fun time out and kinda not telling the whole truth about looking for a serious relationship.

If you are so worried why dont you just ask her straight out. 6 weeks online and 2 in person is not a lot of time- I know I would not make any commitments in that amount of time and she also my have personal things that she is not ready to reveal to someone she has really, only, met 2 weeks ago. Do you think maybe you are jumping the gun here a bit?

Give her time. You just met. If she wants to go but drive herself, let her. You'll still be spending time with her. I look online all the time, don't usually do anything about it--doesn't mean anything. Maybe she just thinks she should be careful since you guys just met. I've gone out with people I met online, and only one of them seemed to be really scary, but if any of them had been, no one would have known where to find my body. It's different than going out with someone who is a friend of a friend or something. If she didn't like you, she wouldn't have gone out with you that many times.

Looks like somebody had their hand in the cookie jar. Sounds like you've been had. You need to find out from her if there's someone else. Only if necessary tell her about her profile a that way she can't lie her way out of it. Do what's best for you and that comes first.I'm in my thirtys as well trust me if she doesn't want you to pick her up there's a reason behind it get it from her don't let her play you for a fool.Good luck!

I think this lady has wisely put her safety first. As for her profile as being still active. Why not your relationship may or may not take off. I see no harm in still looking,Why not talk to her and ask what gives,please don't put it as an accusation. just asking for information. Sounds like a fair match best wishes

well i think you have to be very cautious on who you meet over the Internet, and maybe that is why she has never had a serious relationship because she is to busy being with other people.

well that could mean she is checking her email on there to see if you have written to her vack any on there ir she could be checking for other new emails. lots of girls like to keep her options open. sorry to say but if shes not crazy about u she could still be looking but know that you are always there for her. just keep your eye on her. she might have been having conversations with others when she started dating you and didn't want to cut them off abruptly until she sees how it goes with you. I wouldn't read a lot into that.
