Going to a dance with a guy?

This guy i know asked me to his dance at school. i am homeschooled, and he used to be. he just started going to a private school this year. i'm not really allowed to date. how should i ask my parents if i can go? i really really really want to, so i'll take pretty much any suggestions you have!!!! thanks!!!!

if they say when you know they are considering it

if they say are there parents supervision don't push it to much

just be like ya its at his school

make it clear you trust him and if you went you know you'd have a good time =]

Just say you were invited to a dance with this guy. It doesn't mean that you are dating. If gone to 3 dances with my boyfriend and we're about to go to a formal and my parents don't even know we are going out but they do know i've been going to dances with him. So just ask if you can go to this dance. Maybe even try to get a few of your friends to go, or least one, then your parents would probably be more willing to let you go. Hope this helps!

Go. You should really go, it's not a serious date! Ask them like this: "Hey, (his name here) asked me to go to his school dance. There will be alot of people there, and I might be able to meet more people! I'm sure they have parents there, and it's for school, nothing serious."

just tell them its a school event that you are dying to go to with a friend since you have never been to one. they always take pictures at dances, and they always have forms for you to fill out before you go. dont tell your parents about the forms, till you recieve them though. with the pictures, make sure you are going to order them before you tell them, or you can take your own camera and take a grip of pictures. then when you do have proof show it to your parents, they will be convinced!! not only that, they will probably let you go to another one because you had so much fun!!
