Question:
what do you think about playing "games" in relationships?
?

I try not to play games in relationships, but it seems like all the advice I get from people is suggesting that I play hard to get or some other games. I have to admit that my non-game playing hasn't gotten me very far though.

What do you think about games and relationships? Are they helpful or hurtful and why?

PS: I'm not talking about chess. lol

In my opinion it's not good to play games because they usually back fire and turn out the opposite of what you thought they would be.

Tug of war is an easily organized, impromptu game that requires little equipment.

Paul Cézanne - The Card Players, 1895A game is a structured or semi-structured activity, usually undertaken for enjoyment and sometimes also used as educational tools. (The term "game" is also used to describe simulation of various activities e.g., for the purposes of training, analysis or prediction, etc., see "Game (simulation)".) Games are generally distinct from work, which is usually carried out for remuneration, and from art, which is more concerned with the expression of ideas. However, the distinction is not clear-cut, and many games may also be considered work and/or art. Key components of games are goals, rules, challenge, and interactivity. Games generally involve mental or physical stimulation, and sometimes both. Many games help develop practical skills, serve as a form of exercise, or otherwise perform an educational, simulational or psychological role.

Known to have been played as far back as prehistoric times, Games are a universal part of the human experience, for all cultures, genders and ages.

Games are what you go to after school .To see your school team play.Hopefully Your team wins.

Play games in relationships. No one wins. You only hurt someones feelings, breed feelings and emotions of distrust. This can lead to physical and long term emotional problems.Doesnt sound like very much fun to me.

Games are supposed to be FUN.

Relationships are supposed to be FUN also. (Dont forget that)

Just leave the games to the track ,field, court ,gym,pc or tv.

I think playing games to an extent is ok. There are games that are helpful because they are flirtatious and make you mysterious. You aren't laying it all out on the table at once. Then there are games that are manipulative and cause you to look stupid and hurt others because you're playing too hard. You have to have a balance of mystery and being up-front which is easier said than done, but that's why you practice!

Games are hurtful, imo. Mature adults do not engage in relationship games. Hope that helps you out.

I hate it when women play games. If I like someone, they know it, and if someone likes me, I would like to know that as well. I'm 26, not 15. Maybe it's just me, who knows.
