why doesn't my bf want me at his gigs?

he's playing around the country and he doesn't invite me to see it. traveling is not a problem since it's during weekends when i don't work and there is enough place for ride for a few more people to go with the bend.
when he did ask me once he was like: you don't wanna go, right? you won't go so?
of course i can't answer on that i would like to go. i don't wanna invite myself. i do go to gigs of other musicians so he knows i like it. why is he doing this?

He may not want to mix you with his work. It's a big problem when the people you date start poking their nose into your band. Look to the Beatles for example.

He's probably just behaving in a light he doesn't want you to see. Maybe he's bit crazy or maybe that's the type of the band. What type of the band is it?



I wouldn't think too much into it, unless there are other signs that he's "fooling around"

Yea its a bit strange but dont look too much into it cause maybe hes would feel shy playing when ur there but then again i would be honoured if my girlfriend came to see me play but maybe its just something sill nothing to worry about

probably because he likes the groupies or the fans that are girls cus they make him feel hot. idk if its something to worry about because i dont know your boyfriend but if it was me i would think that maybe he is cheating on you with alot of his fans..but i have a trust issue lol. i would listen to your gut though if you feel he is doing something you wouldnt want then he probably is but if you feel he takes the traveling as a break or vacation like a time to get away then i would just be happy for him and try to be understanding

There's probably lots of girls there (not saying he's cheating on you), so if you were there also, it most likely wouldn't make those girls very happy, (which are probably paying customers, yes?)
