I agree with Chief Pride. You're in 8th grade? That makes you 13-14 years old. You're not done growing. You will get a bit taller ad you will put on weight so you will be ok there. Just make sure it is quality weight. Eat a proper diet. Most kids today eat like crap. Lean meats (gotta have protein to build muscle), vegetables and fruits so that your workouts will be the most effective. Being physically fit will also help you to be less prone to injuries. Your skills seem very good for your age. GREAT 40 time! Use that speed to help you scramble when coverages break down. That will get you noticed too. It's also good that you have played the other skill positions so you understand them. But really, just like CP said: learn the playbook. Technique can be coached, knowledge can't. Peyton Manning is not the fastest nor has the most powerful arm but he is great because he studies and practices RELENTLESSLY. You can be great if you apply yourself. Just always remember: Don't rely solely on sports. Be just as passionate with your academics. That will make the difference when it comes to getting into a good college. There are lots of talented meatheads out there. Coaches want a smart QB who can think on his feet. Good luck.

Well, the major thing is that you're probably not going to the same school...? You're in Jr. High and she's in high school? Other than that, it doesn't normally matter if you're younger or older by a year. Just talk to her a lot and in a while it'll be easy to ask her out. Just gotta have the guts and it'll pay off! (:

Sorry, hun. wait till next year. a sophmore dating a freshman isnt nearly as bad as a freshman dating an eighth grader! no offense but freshmen are already 'babies' of high school and are trying to form a reputation and first impression on the other high schoolers. Dating a younger BOY isn't that great of a look.

Dont worry just let that person come to you.If not them then some other older person will like you in the future. Example me im 17 and i picked up a 22 year old haha :)

first get the girl's number, wait a few days then call her up asking for a date.

No, you do not have the guts, or you would have done it already.
