This guy said I looked familiar and I said maybe because I'm a twin?

I was in the cousenling office at the community college. This random guy that I've never seen before asked me if I was from the area & said I looked familiar. And I said I have a twin sister so maybe he's seen her. & then He asked me how long I've been going to school & then said "maybe I'll see you around". Was it dumb the way I said I had a twin sister? People tell me that I look familiar all the time.. & I assume that maybe they've seen my sister not ME.

nope im a twin too and i;ve had that conversation more than once lol. he may have been flirting also, but either way it's not a dumb answer. at least now he knows and wont get confused when he tries to talk to your twin and she doesn't recognize him. Twin problems, right? <3

Yes, it was dumb to mention your twin.

First off, because "you seem familiar" is one of those default lines a guy uses when he tries to talk to a girl.... it's just a conversation opener.

And secondly, men can be very pervy, and now he's gonna fantasize about hooking up with twin-chicks.
