Girls, would it be a turnoff if I quit sports to focus more on guitar?

So I just finished freshman year, and I just got addicted to guitar. I've had a few concerts, and I love the feeling of playing guitar on stage. This summer, I realized that I put all of my effort into guitar and not lacrosse. I'm not a bad lacrosse player, but I'm not great. I would say that I am a borderline junior varsity to recreation league player. I didn't get a whole lot of playing time on JV, but I did pretty good on the rec league after the season. So I was wondering if it would be a turnoff if I started taking guitar more seriously rather than focusing on getting more playing time on JV and possibly varsity next year.

I prefer musicians to athletes (as long as they are still moderately in shape), if that helps. I know a lot of girls, myself included, that love when a guy picks up a guitar and starts to play.

Every girl is different. Some find the guitar hot. They fantasize about a guy who would play them songs or maybe thats not there thing, just something about it is hot. Some find guy a who play sports hot. Something about the activity (and of course) the fact its a given there in shape, they find attractive.



Also there's something about either the guitar or sports player that puts a personality image into your head. Guitar makes you think the guy know how to act sexy, he's creative and fun, either outgoing and wild or shy and sweet or deep and reserved. Sports player makes you think outgoing and fun, good with people and aggressive (doesn't quit for what he wants), and muscles :D



I think that you should do what makes you happy, and attract girls who would appreciate that. Your in shape and got talent. If you do one over the other you enjoy more, the right girl is bound to tell you to do the one you prefer unless your doing it for something like scholarships.



My opinion? Id prefer a guy who could play the guitar, but id love it if he was still in shape. I dislike the overly muscle type body but just toned and defined i like. Id say go for the guitar, since you seam to prefer it, but stay with the lacrosse if you have fun with that too. If you dont have time for both dont completely give up on the other, at least keep it as a hobby.

i would love to date a guy who does both :) try to see if you can fit it into your schedule... if you can't i would get a private guitar teacher and practice lacrosse for an hour and then have your private teacher teach you for another. that way you get the best of both worlds oh also, use the guitar to your advantage and sing a song to a lady on acoustic, girls love that, but play lacrosse too! such a dreamy guy my friend! All these people on here are giving THEIR opinion, but i think YOU should do whats best don't listen to the girls who say one is better than the other... just cause its attractive just do what is right for you. Personally, i would love to have a guy who does both, but thats's my opinion :) Good luck!

Do what you love! If you love playing guitar more than lacrosse than focus on guitar! For me it's a big turnoff if you're just doing something to be popular with the ladies. I know it sounds clique but follow your heart!:)

i individually locate women that are distinctive greater beautiful simply by fact of their forte. gazing activities isn't a turn off because's yet another element the guy can relate to. as quickly as I say a woman is unique that's from the way they gown to the style of song they prefer. How about trying to be a man and do what you want, not what some chick wants you to do. There will be plenty of time for that once you're married. Enjoy your balls while they still belong to you. They'll be in someones purse before you know it.
