my girlfriend won't stop complaining about her looks? what shall I do?

my girlfriend will not stop talking about how unhappy she is with herself, her looks- everything! Its not annoying yet because she's SO wrong. For example, we were getting ready to go to my best friends fundraiser and she got so upset (crying) because she thought she looked 'Obese'.
I don't know what to do or say to make her feel better! I hate seeing her unhappy.

Get a new girlfriend. Her behavior will never end. You know that already. Why else would you have said "It's not annoying yet...." ? Either she has low self esteem that you won't be able to do anything about or she knows she looks ok. If she knows she looks ok already, she's just needy and demanding that you reassure her constantly. THAT gets old really quick. So don't agree with her or disagree with her. Ignore her rants because nothing you say will be good enough. She'll either call you a liar or say that you just don't know what you're talking about. I didn't look at her picture because I doubt that her actual appearance has anything to do with her behavior. Get out while you can.

She's really pretty and maybe she's just a little insecure or wants to hear you tell her how you feel about her. Even if people tell her she's pretty she might just ignore it until she hears it from you. It might be annoying but the more you remind her how pretty, beautiful, gorgeous she looks, she'll feel really good about herself, even if it doesnt seem like it. Good luck :)

honestly its human nature to not be happy with our looks. I'm the same way, sometimes i get so upset with my looks although everyone in my family says i'm the prettiest.



also tell her she has you as a boyfriend and that she's already beautiful in your eyes. she doesnt need to look good for other guys. tell her that even if she gained 100 pounds you'd still be with her and you'll never let her go.

your like a Flower to me, ya know not every pedal is going to look the same, one may be wilted, one may be torn one may looked wretched but to me your wilted pedal looks like a ripened oranges your torn pedals look like they doubled and the wretched ones looked like that because of all the years or days its been through so when you sigh everyday and say your dont like a pedal just remember to me it looks like pulchritudinous and it will always look like that to me
