When is it okay to ignore your girlfriend?

sometimes ma girlfriend does dumb stuf and i figure .. the only way to make her realize and to get the point accross is if i ignore.. is that okay?

Yes of course. Sometimes (mostly all the time) its best to ignore your girlfriend because they never really say anything important anyways, just chatter. If shes talking to you about something, just nod your head and act like you are listening and every few minutes just say "yeah uh huh" if she asks you a question or something like that. It works.

It might be kind of mean depending on when you choose to ignore her. Is it after she says something? Because you shouldn't give her attention if she's being stupid, but she could get a bad vibe off of you and it might hurt her feelings. Maybe you could ask her, "Baby why do you do that?" or something that sounds nice, but helps you understand why she is doing it so you can see if there is a justified reason for you ignoring her.

I think the gap that you're forming will only raise more question on her part. She might not get it. However, if you email, write or maybe text her why you're distancing yourself, she might get the point. I'm sure you have valid reasons why you feel the need to do this...she may get the point that way. You know her better but some people need to be told. I hope this helps.

its only ok to ignore your girlfriend when your 16 and immature, other than that its never okay, out of sight out of mind is the worst thing you can do in a relationship, if she does something wrong then bring it to her attention, if that doesnt work then break up, but communication is key, thats my 2 cents
