When should I admit I like him?

I have a crush on a friend of mine for a few months now, and I really want to admit that I like him. THe thing is, I'm leaving to go on a month long trip soon and I won't be able to see him at all until the end of January. Should I admit I like him now, should I wait until the last minute, or wait until we see each other again?

Wait until you see him again, because it could either go one of two ways.



1) He likes you too - In which case that's not fair to him if you finally confess your feelings for each other and then leave to go on a month long trip. He's just left hanging.



2) He doesn't like you too - In which case a month apart without contact could mean that it just get's awkward and you never rekindle your friendship because you've been gone so long.

Tell him now so you can spend time together before you leave and so he will be waiting for you when you get back.

i would do it as soon as possible because then you could talk about it before you leave but if he dont know what he want to do then he could think about it while your on the trip
