I assume you mean first date, and the answer is simple... depends. It depends on the girl/guy you're dating. In my opinion(all the comments below are in my opinion) a good first date would be dinner and a movie (yeah, I'm old fashioned). Go for something not to formal dinner wise, but not fast food either. Better to do a family run place as they are a good trade off between price and class. The Movie should be something you both feel comfortable watching. Scary movies can lead to cuddling, but that isn't certain, and could make someone uncomfortable. You should wear what you feel comfortable wearing, you probably don't need a tux, in fact you probably don't need anything that requires a tie, but a nice shirt/blouse, and some slacks/skirt (khakis are easy) should be appropriate). If you are planning on going somewhere local (read: within walking distance) you and your intended could proably walk together, but if that seems unappealing to you, meeting her/him there is probably your best bet. Finally, a tip: be polite. Be a gentleman/lady and show how good of a person I'm sure you are. Good Luck!
