i am a lesbian and has been for a year and three months and i love how i am and i dont understand why ppl dont accept me for who i am because who i choose to be with yea ppl say its a sin but if ppl sit back and look EVERYBODY SINSa sin is not greater than another so i strongly think that noone CAN DEFINE ME accept GOD i know its wrong but me aND MY HEAVENLY FATHER WOULD DEAL WITH THAT AND ITS NOT A FAZE I LIKE GIRLS AND GIRlS LIKE ME AND IM 17 BUT TRUST I KNOW WHAT I WANT

If I may be so bold to answer this! You have not lived long enough in this world to give yourself such a title! So let's drop that first. As an older young lady I began as you, whew what a struggle that was with me, family, friends and God. Society portrays that this lifestyle is accepted, NOT! In your face it is a maybe behind your back it is another story! People will accept you as the person but not as much YOU in that life style. It is you as the person which is judged first, once you say I like girls now you have a problem. Our generation is more open with our lifestyle which allows others to think it is okay for them too! Well, here comes the part that is going to upset you because I am going to sound like a real grown up, once you know it is a sin within your self that is when God makes you responsible for self. Man tends to justify the bible for their wrong doings that is why Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed. Same sex relationships, animals and so on. I think you should explore life first before you label yourself. If your family is concerned it is because they know what battles you will have. And they must be thinking were did they go wrong and they really haven't. It is just that we get caught up on the trends of others. I am straight and I am okay, I had an older lesbian set me straight, not sexual but by telling me a little of what I am saying to you. I allowed myself to be more open with boys. I was afraid of rejection and not confidant with myself to deal with boys not to mention I was also afraid that I would not be strong enough to say No when that "can we do it ever came up"

When it did I was and when I began dating it was fun and I did not have to hide any more. But I did not have anyone to guide me, just that lady that did not take advantage of me, but lead me back on the right path. I hope you DO!

Gaining acceptance was never our goal - we fell in love and that was that. You simply cannot help who you fall in love with.



If people can't accept it, they have issues they need to deal with. Most people have no problems with it. Yet those that do are more than enuff to make it seem like it's a bad thing no matter who you are or where you came from or how you were brought up.



Kinda like the idiots what think we should remove "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance, and "In God We Trust" from our money, and the 10 Commandments from Courthouses.



If someone can't accept you for who you are, then find someone else to talk to.

I'm gay, My father(a christian) says love the sinner, hate the sin. Know these words and spread them far and wide. Those who true to the faith they declare will back off, if not, they are just another person who is going to hell like the rest of us. HAHA. Seriously though, you can tell them that the part of the bible(Leviticus) that says it is a sin, was meant to apply to the preists of Israel. So we are not bound by those rules. And the parts in the gospel of st. peter were about cult prostitution, not sexual orientation. Other than that, live on, and remember that at a party, guys like watching girls make-out, so charge admission.

Ah you're in the first initial phase of coming out. For about 3 to 5 years you will be out and proud and practically telling everyone you are gay. As you get older, you will realize that it's not necessary to let everyone know your business. I was just like you when I first came out. Now it's basically on a "need to know" basis. Just try to relax, and those who think it is just a phase will be proven wrong over time.

i am gay, and i am a christian/baptist. I knew all of my life that i was, but couldn't deal with it. when my parents found out they told me that i wasn't and took me to counseling. Yet I always knew who i was. i came to terms with it recently.
