Question:
fun date ideas anyone?
2008-08-09 22:39:32 UTC
I was looking for some cheap, romantic, fun date ideas for my boyfriend and me to go on. We're both in college so we don't have a lot of extra money to spend on extravagant dates. Can anyone help me?

These ideas may be little but it should do the trick. It's cute, fun and not to mention really sexy if i may add. I think both of you should go clubbing. That way, the two of you have to stay close because only then will you be able to hear the other, but barely audible.Your outfit has to be the bomb, as if it were destined to kill the night. As you dance, make frequent eye contacts with him and stay really close, just a couple of inches away. Also make sure that you "bump" into him occasionally. Guys wouldnt be able to resist that. The other alternative is that you guys could challenge over a game of pool. But here's the thing, you have to pretend that you've never been good at it and wouldnt mind having someone to coach you. When he does help you, he would have to hold you the way it is suppose to; leaning down, holding the stick with you...etc. Something like these should be able to get you in the game. Half fun. =)

So, these are all going to sound odd and childish most likely-but those are usually the dates that are most fun and memorable...so hopefully they help!

-Taste test-blindfold your boyfriend (or other way around) and try and guess the food your eating. You could even turn this into a weekly thing, where you try different categories of foods each week. It's cheap (just do it at each others apartments/dorms), and one week can be like chips, another could be ice cream, the next could be chocolate bars, etc.

-Dress Up Scavenger Hunt- Get a couple of index cards and zip-lock bags, and give some to your boyfriend. Then each of you write your own set of clues on the cards (its fun to make them rhyme, or word them in a witty way) and then hide them with different funky articles of clothing (in the zip-lock bags to protect them) in the area you live in. Make sure you both agree on a place to meet up on for your last clue (ice cream place is cheap and fun), and then you can give each other your first clues and head off in separate cars. As you find your clues, you have to put on the article of clothing in the bag (hat, socks, belt, etc.) and by the time you get to the final destination, you should be wearing all of them-you may look goofy, but it's fun and makes for cute photos.

-Grocery List- get some of your other friends together (preferably couples, so it can be like a group date thing) and meet at one of your dorms first. Each couple should make a list of silly things to find or do in the grocery store (or it could be the mall, whichever) such as 'serenade a random shopper' or 'pretend to know a random person and strike up a conversation with them' Make sure to bring a camera/video camera along and record everything on the list. You can do this as couples, and the first couple to finish the list can win like a gift certificate to a restaurant in the area or something cheap you all can throw together.

Hope these help :)

Would have helped if you said where you are but check the local newspaper for entertainment events. There are usually things in there that you can do that are free.
