So this guy who kept glancing at me at nordstrom came outside and gave me his phone number and he smiled. He seems very sweet but there is this other guy at my school who would always say hi to me and be so kind and sweet to me. But i always ignored him so i guess he gave up. But I have always had feelings for him and it has never gone away for 2 years now. And sometimes I think he is the one. I know it seems crazy but it is true. So like the guy who gave me his phone number and other guys who would flirt for me, I don't have feelings for them, only the guy from my school. So what does it mean when a guy gives you his phone number and am i wierd that i only have feelings for only one guy instead of multiple guys??? Thanks for answering!!

The Nordstrom guy is honestly thinking of a booty call. Almost every single guy who spontaneously goes up to you and gives you their phone number without getting to know you first {a 15 minute conversation doesn't count} just wants a nice looking honey in his bed later on. I mean, really, he gave you HIS number but didn't get yours? Old school dating philosophy says that a man should get your phone number to pursue you; not give you his so you can chase him.

Granted, there are the few rare men who are civil and feel that them offering you their number is a more polite way to initiate a possible dating scenario in such a way that you don't feel pressured... 9 times out of 10: it's just a booty call {this from the man sitting next to me}. It could also be a sign of being overly self assured.

As for not being interested in people you meet but don't really know, I personally don't see anything wrong with it. I don't see the appeal in just going off with some random stranger for an intimate meal in an attempt to get to know each other. What if he's crazy or really rude or weird?

I don't understand why you would ignore someone you've always liked. That line is a little odd to me. Were you too scared to let him think you actually liked and therefore let a chance pass by? If such is the case, you should go and at least see if you can't be friends and then see where it goes. For all you know, your high school crush was the one.

If a guy gives you his number it usually means he likes you! And no you're not weird for having feelings for only one guy, but I just don't really understand why you ignored the guy you like at school for two years when you liked him and he liked you. If you really like this guy [the one at your school] then you should try chatting to him more and letting him know you're interested in him, then maybe he'll develop feelings for you again.

Well it depends how he gave you the number. By the way it sounds , it sounds like both guys like you. what ever you do , DONT try to play both guys to see which one you like better. It always ends up as if one guy finds out about the other. I hope this helps , and I hope you find the guy!:D
