I showed clear interest in a guy and he and his friends found out. Why didn't the guy make a move?

Instead of asking me out right away, he would just enjoy the attn w/his guy friends. He did this for a month. Then when I disappeared and came back after 5 weeks, all of a sudden he was SO into me. Why didn't he approach me from the beginning? Why have his fun? It shows that he wasn't interested right?

Whether or not he wasn't interested in you before, he seems interested *now*. Isn't that the important thing?



I think you're too trying to read too much into his previous behavior. There are any number of reasons why a guy wouldn't make a move right away. He might have had someone else on his radar. The spotlight from his guy friends might have put too much pressure on him. He might not have felt ready to date. Or maybe he just didn't fancy you yet. Only person who knows for sure is him, so go dig deeper.

You may not be his type. He may not be interested. Also, he sounds a bit immature. He just liked the attention from his friends. Don't bother with him and find someone new. Plus, if he isn't showing an interest don't seem needy around him. Guys take that in many different ways and it scares them off. Just move on and if he likes you once you are not showing an interest than so be it. Just act casual around him like you haven't noticed. Don't always be the chaser. Guys like a confident girl and you can show how strong you are by bouncing back. You've already made it clear to him that you like him. Its all on him else-wise.
