Girl troubles...?

Question

I have alot of trouble finding a girlfriend.. I am 14 years old and alot of kids in my grade already have a girlfriend but I do not. I like two girls but I am not sure if they really even know I exist. I am very talented with playing guitar and I listen to alot of music that noone in my grade listens to. (Bright Eyes, Elliott Smith, Desaparecidos, The Shins)which makes it hard to relate to anyone in my grade so I also have trouble making friends since music is a HUGE part of my life. I am very shy around girls and I get nervous when I am trying to talk to them. I find myself not being able to even look at them when I am talking to them. I really just wish girls could see how unique I am and how talented I am with guitar and drums. I get bad grades (almost all Fs) because I don't do my homework and in return alot of people think I am a stupid outcast... HELP ME!

From personal experience, wanting a girlfriend won't exactly get you one. And more importantly, you have to accept yourself before others can accept you for who you are. Playing the drums or the guitar is a great feat, but you have to get used to the fact that not each girl is going to appreciate your music. I personally play the piano and some girls liked more than others. Find those who also share an interest in music. You shouldn't worry about girls now. There is always time later on. I didn't get my first gf until I was 15 and now I'm 18.

Well, you can start off by opening up a little and looking people in the eyes when you talk to them. If they don't like you, you can't do anything about it. If you're happy with getting F's keep up the good work, but if you'd like to change that you'd need to remain focused in your classes in school and especially on finishing homework out of school even though there are a million better things to do. You should probably try to find more ways to relate with people then music, so its easier for you to start conversations and feel comfortable. I know most girls find guys who can play guitars, but drums especially, to be more of a turn on.

well do ur homework, check out some of the more popular music...you don't have to listen to it all the time or even like it but just check it out so ur not totally an outcast when it comes to music. also, if u ever have a talent show or anything then you should definatly be in it so that you can show the girls that you are pretty awesome. Okay ask her out next friday cause she probably be busy all week so try the weekend. Don't ask her out the first chance you get cause that would make you seem like your obsessed. Also find out when she has nothing to do on the weekends so you guys can have a date. If she keeps on turning down on your proposals for a date then she's way too busy for a relationship. Maybe she just wants to be friends cause she has no time for having a bf?

first off, get your grades up. you shouldn't be worrying about girls until you get that fixed. god, i hate when i sound like a mom, i'm only 14, so it's weird. anyway, try to make some male friends first, because, even if it sounds mean, girls don't like losers. make sure everybody knows how good you are at playing guitar, (girls love musicians), and get involved in sports. girls will notice.

First off girls absolutely CANNOT BE WITH A person who DOESN'T do school work. Secondly I really think you should in a group of people that share the same interests as you and maybe you'll find your girl

Don't feel pressured to find a girlfriend just cuz everyone else has one. If you actually really like a girl than go for it. If not, that's ok.



Also, do your homework. That is the stupidest reason to fail!!!

from the stand point of a 14 year old girl (me) i wuld say that u REALLY need to open up more!!! if i wuz to choose a boyfriend, he wuld hav to be smart(for my parents), passionate about sumthing other than me (ur music), and at least be able to LOOK at me.....i think u shuld try to find some friends that like you for who u r.....and dont let music COMPLETELY take over ur life and ur RELATIONSHIPS...even tho everyone likes music, it may not be ur type of music but either way its still music.....good luck and hope i helped :)

for one if you don't look at a girl she'll think she does'nt like you and if you like different music than other people than listen to some there interested in and see if you like it then you can talk about music they like and you like also and if you don't turnin you're homework and people think your dumb show them how smart you are by turning your homework in and show the girls that your not just a pretty face oh and girls don't like the punk look k bye
