Am I the only one who thinks that my mom's boyfriend is ridiculous?

I am 16 years old, just two more years until I go to college. My mom's boyfriend is making the most stupid rules for showering, for me taking a shower. I think it's pretty goddamn ridiculous that he expects me to shower everyday of the week. And he has so many stupid specific rules of when I have to take showers. I think I am old enough, which I said I am 16, to know for myself when I should take a shower. I honestly think it is downright ridiculous to shower everyday of my life. I tell him showering everyday is bad for you (It's actually true! Google up why), and that I would take one every other day, so 3 or 4 days a week. I tell him it's tedious to shower every damn single day. He says too bad, which makes me wanna punch him in the goddamn face. Is he being unreasonable. Again, I think I am old enough to decide for myself when to shower.

Realistically such rules shouldbe made by your Mom. Her BF is not responsible for you, and she could of course split from him anytime.

As regards the showering, many people shower daily, some more than once because of hygiene. Talk to your Mom PRIVATELY for her view.

It creeps me out that his guy is setting parameters for when you shower. Is there a water shortage or some kind of time constraint? It sounds more like this guy is controlling a very personal aspect of your life. Why is this his business?

He isn't even your stepfather, tell him to do one. I shower everyday, sometimes twice a day but it is entirely up to you what you do.

He is NOT your father, NOT your caregiver, NOT your step-father. He is merely your mom's boyfriend, make that clear to this ridiculous man and shower whenever you please.
