my bf gave me chlamydia and didnt tell me can i still have children? "/?

Question

i must have had it at least 5 months.. without knowing.. i didnt get told.. and i found out he slept with somone who sleeps around so i got checked out.. and they said i had chlamydia so i got the 4 tablets but i have an infection from the chlamydia so i after have antibiotics which i finish taking tomorrow... but i'm really worrying that when i'm older i wont be able to have a baby "/ i dont see the point with falling out with him because he didnt no and its in the past now but if i cant have children i dont no what i'm going to do "/ he's so dirty he should of got checked a long time ago "/ sorry for posting in this topic i posted it in the STD one but no one replys im really paranoid and just need advise :(

If you have taken the antibiotics as instructed then you should be fine. Its only a real risk when left undetected for years and then it can cause fertility problems if left untreated. The only way you will know for certain is when you start trying for a baby however there will of course be some symptoms should it have left you with an issue regardless of the fact that Chlamydia leaves no symptoms etc. If you are still concerned please speak to your doctor or nurse who will be able to advise and offer relevant tests to put your mind at ease.

From what I know you can have children still if your worried you should go back to your doctor and ask :) They will definitely be able to tell you a reliable answer :3

Can you have children yes unless there are other reasons, docs would have said if that wasn't the case! get the shmuck of a bf to wear condoms no condom no sex period!

It serves you right for not using contraception. Go to your GP about it if you're that worried, but it is unlikely that you have become infertile.
