How to have fun in your House? I'd appreciate any ideas! (:?

Question

I go to a traditional, classical school with lots of old customs, one of them being the house system. If you are not familiar with the house system it is somewhat similar to the house system in Harry Potter. Our house does have a good time, but I was wondering if anyone else out there had ideas to kind of give us unity and fun? For example, another house's (not mine) mascot is a stag, and all of their members get a number, Stag 1 , Stag 2, ect. ect. by age. I would really appreciate any ideas especially if you go to a school with houses too(: It doesn't even necessarily have to be for a house or have to do with our theme, just something to welcome the younger kids and let them know we have fun(: Thank you everyone!
