My b/f of 17 years has rants and rages every once and a while. Just to let you know ahead of time, I do not live with this man. He lives in his house and I live in mine, thankfully. He is a recovered alcoholic of 31 years. I grew up in an alcoholic environment, always hollering going on in the house and a father who is an alcoholic. Every time someone hollers, especially men, I cringe. My b/f was hollering and screaming at me for a bulb that i thought was dead. I got another light bulb, thought it was the wrong size, he said it wasn't. When I said it wasn't, he started screaming and ranting and raging. Now this man is 70 years. As I said earlier I don't like hollering and he knows this. When he hollers, he makes me feel like I am 5 years old and I feel that I have done something wrong. Rather than talking about it civilly, he starts ranting. I refuse to accept this behavior. Should I kick him to the curb?
