Crushing on a guy that lives in another country?

So I'm 14 year old (almost 15) and in my life i've only had 1 boyfriend, it was 2 years ago and we didn't even talk... Every year I crush on a guy, its always the same type of guy: a player who doesn't give a crap about me or plays with my heart... I don't know why i'm like that and it last for almost the whole school year. Then every time, i wonder how i could've liked him?! My heart gets broken every year and i can't help it,i tell him how i feel, he flirts with me and then goes out with a girl with big boobs that wears a ton of makeup! So now, i just got over this one guy and we're friends.

Not a long time ago, a school from another country came to ours for this project we do every year. There was this cute guy but we didn't talk during his stay here. After they left, i added him on Facebook and we talked. I started crushing on him but he had a girlfriend so i knew i should just give up. We started talking again this week and we talked for a looong time. We asked each other personal"ish questions (nothing too creepy :P ). He and his girlfriend broke up and he seems to be really upset, he told me he wants to have a serious relationship. He flirts with me and stuff and i am REALLY crushing on him now. He says i'm his type and he can't wait to see me next year.

Since, he's depressed after the break-up i feel like i'm just the rebound, but i can't control my feelings... I'm gonna fall for him and he's gonna be like the other guys i've liked: He's gonna find himself a girlfriend, forget about me and my heart will be broken... He seems to like me, no guy has ever been like that with me but i'm scared and i don't know what to do. A year is a long time and i bet he's just gonna forget about me, but i won't. I'm a really fragile person. Plus, he lives in another country so we can't see each other in person :(

What should I do? Try to forget about him or continue talking to him? Please help, this is really hard for me :'(

First of all, The reason why you kept on having a cruh each year was just because of their appearance! You said that they tried to flirt to you and then flirt with some other make-up whore! It's obvious that you only liked them because of their looks! You should've realised it a long time ago. And now you fell for a guy who is cute (you fell for him because he's cute and tries to flirt with you right?) every guy i met is just like that. Don't be too afraid to fall inlove girl! Rememer: in every relations there's always a risk. so be careful! Just follow your heart. Though, he might break it. But you can't change the fact that he made you happy. right? :)

Girl, you're still young. You have your life ahead of you for relationships. But however, I've been in this exact same situation (liking someone from another country), but I never met him in person. It didn't work, simply because he was a pathological liar, but be careful with a long-distance relationship, if one arises. They can cause a lot of worries, but the best thing to do is talk with them about your problems. My best advice? Give him space, time to recover from the breakup, and carefully show him how feel eventually. If you really see a future with him, don't forget him. I wish you the best of luck. My current... "boyfriend" is living 1000 miles away from me, and I've never met him in person, but I love him more than anything.
