Women horny as men?

I’ve heard people say, on a few occasions, that women are just as horny as men. I say there is no way that is true. If it were, people would be hooking up and having random sex constantly (literally). If women were as horny as men, a man would be able to walk up to a woman on the street and say, “Hey, you’re hot. Wanna go back to my place?” And the woman would be all for it.
Plus, biologically it makes sense for men to be more horny because males are programmed to spread their genes as much as possible. Whereas women have to deal with pregnancy, so sex is potentially a much bigger commitment- making women more choosy and hesitant about doing it. So in real life, that translates into men being horny all the time, wanting to do almost every woman they see, while women are far less ready to just do it with anyone.
I think that any woman who claims to be as horny as men is mistaken about how horny men really are. So, women, what are your thoughts?

I don't think women are as horny as men. I think women can become as horny as men, if they have a man get her in the mood and make her feel like a woman. Women do get horny, alot of times tho, there are alot of emotions that they want involved. Most men, notice how I did not say all men, don't really have the deep emotional need for a deep connection with a partner, they just need to absolve their urge. I am female. Most will claim, they don't have the right lover. Its a good point, I will tell you from experience, if the man, is very good at meeting the womans needs, she will crave sex, just as much as a man does.

Men are on different levels of thinking than women are. For men it's physical, for women it's emotional. It's also a fact that men think about sex a LOT more than women do. It's a gene thing. Hope this answers your question.

I think it depends on the woman. And yes, I also think women can be just as horny as a man can be. I think it is just about the emotional part of it for many women. I know that I could go every single day, but if I am not being treated right, or my husband is acting like a jerk, I just go and take care of it myself because I dont want him touching me at that time. I cannot speak for all women but I also think that women are more selective when it comes to who they sleep with.

Generally, men are more horny than women. But occasionally, there are a few women out there who are really horny, especially when they're in the mood. A little alcohol and good music sometimes work. And every time a woman lays with a man, shes not thinking about pregnancy unless she is with her partner and its something they have been trying to do.

women are just as horny as men and sometimes more so depending on the person. however your theory about spreading genes is correct. men want to sleep with more women to get there genes out there... women want one man to help protect and provide for them (i'm talking stone age motives here so dont get offended) they are just as into sex but they want it with one guy they can depend on.... both are equal just have different sexual desires... any decent looking girl vs. one dependable guy so which is easier to find? thats why it looks like guys want it more

I think the difference is "speed to market" men get in the mood with a simple glance (with or without the need to have a meaningful relationship). Women (in general) have to be persuaded (or share the sex with someone of meaning).
