i don't know how spam mail works exactly... but anyway. i know my boyfriend watches porn and i'm not mad about it if that's all he's doing. but i went on his email and in his spam is a bunch of emails from like porn sites or hook up sites... and when i click the link it knows the town where he works. for example it says stuff like "females near you in (the town he works in) want to hook up" . how would it know the town he works in? has he signed up for a site like this using the town he works in and is cheating or is there other ways for these things to find this info out. we've been together over a year and he treats me so good. helpppppppp

Note: You mentioned that your "boyfriend" is watching pornography.

If you go to Internet Explorer, type in "pornography statistics" and search, then you will read on the left side of the young boy's face that older boys who watch pornography are six times more likely to force girls onto a bed and give them the chance of becoming pregnant.

That is automated. It uses the ip address of the computer to look-up the nearest location it can to make it seem personalized. I usually laugh because where I am, the IP must come from a station in the next town over because it always says that one instead of mine. Dumb bots.

I wouldn't be worried about the emails. It just means that he is paying for porn and getting spam. The real questions is why is he paying for the site?

You have nothing to worry about. These spam hook up sites are auto-generated

Don't worry about it. I have had that crap come to my email before. I never respond.
