Girls, are love letters a good idea to send?

I was just brainstorming some ideas when it came to me, but I also thought it's kinda cheesy, but I wanna know for sure. Would a love letter work?

It depends on the situation, have u just met?? cause that could be very weird and creepy, or have you been friends for a while?? If you have known each other for a while its a great idea and very romantic, or if you are already going out you could take it to the max and put a slideshow of photos of her on youtube with a love song on the background......

Its very sweet but be careful what you write. I wrote a boyfriend of mine a love letter but I put in it how he was the best in bed, the problem was when we broke up he showed all his friends and it was very embarrasing!
